Access Statement for Sheringham View

Sheringham View is located on the A149 Sheringham to Cromer Road adjacent to Beeston Common and just under a mile from the centre of Sheringham.  Opposite our house is the palm tree entrance of the well known local attraction, the Priory Maze and Gardens.
There are 2 bus stops within 100 yds of our property with services to Cromer/Norwich/North Walsham/Sheringham/Holt etc., as well as the ‘Coast Hopper’ service being available.

Sheringham is just a 10-15 minute level walk away.

There are 3 or 4 different routes to take into Sheringham, where you will find, in the centre of town, a Shop Mobility service, Chemists, Cafes, Gift Shops, Restaurants and Pubs.  A mainline Railway service is also available from Sheringham.  This is located opposite the ‘North Norfolk Steam Railway’ which is adjacent to the main town Car Park.

Car Parking
More that 6 spaces for Car Parking are available by driving through a 5 bar gate into our car park. The car park surface is made up of ¾” gravel.

Log Cabin
Access is via a gently rising wood decking ramp. The independent entrance door to the cabin is 3’6” wide with a 3” riser and approx.12yds from where the car would be parked. The first 5yds or so is over ¾” car park gravel.

Garden Room
Independent access is via double French doors 3’8” wide with a 3” riser .The doors are set at the bottom of 2 shallow steps, 4” deep and 2’3”- 3’0”wide. The entrance is some 20yds from the car parking area across the patio out-door seating area.

Tapestry Room
This room is accessed via the front door to the house (2’4” wide). The front door is approached from a ¾” gravel pathway which is some 10-20yds from the car parking areas.

All rooms are ground floor and are en-suite with colour TV/DVD and hospitality trays.
The Cabin has a spa bath with shower over.
The Garden room has a bath with shower over.
The Tapestry room has a ‘walk in Shower’.
All Bathrooms & Bedrooms are of very generous proportions.

Each room contains a folder of local/house information and a range of local attractions literature is available in the Breakfast Room/Conservatory.

Breakfast is taken in the conservatory and is accessed via French doors 3’8” wide with a riser of  3”. The conservatory is approx 12yds from the Cabin, Garden and Tapestry rooms and overlooks the patio and garden.

At night all outside areas are well lit with halogen security lighting.
